One of the difficulties about social media is the time it takes to publish to so many different social networks. There seems to be a whole new sector developing to address just that. These are 5 of the most popular social media presence management applications:1 comment(s) so far...
Re: Managing social media
Publishing, monitoring and gathering metrics is very cumbersome and time consuming for a social media marketer. We felt the pain and that's the reason we created Spredfast. We view Spredfast (and the other four above) to be the in the "Engagement" pillar of the social media taxonomy. The other three pillars are ""Research" (e.g. RapLeaf, Converseon...), "Sentiment / Listening" (e.g. Radian6, Crimson Hexagon, Techrigy, ScoutLabs, Brands Eye View...) and "Configuration" (e.g. Involver, Vitrue, Buddy Media, Wildfire Applications...). Each pillar brings value and addresses different to a social media initiative and very complementary to one another. There will be partnerships and potential roll-ups across these pillars in the future. This is just my personal take of the current taxonomy of social media. It would be great to hear other takes on this thread. By Ken Cho on
